Summer
As the year is ending and summer is so close I can taste it! Only two exams, one presentation, and I am home free! This year has been a year full of learning and new experiences. From my first semester at a completely different college to ending my freshman year here at Fontbonne, it has most certainly been an interesting ride. I have grown a lot this year by figuring out what I really want to do with my life and the field of work I would like to end up in. This summer I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into a great new internship, taking a summer course, and of course spending some much needed time by the pool. I cannot wait to get some R&R after exams, but my summer to do list is quite lengthy and I cannot wait to get started. During the school year I never get to read as much as I would like to, summer is the perfect time to really get a hold of my reading list. My summer bucket list includes:
- Spontaneous road trips with friends!
- Become more of a religious yoga goer
- Redecorate and Reorganize
- Plan a brunch- hydrangeas and all
- COUNTRY CONCERTS- they are the best, even if you do not like country music the atmosphere is intoxicating! Get a group of friends together and go!!
- Leave my phone at home- I must be crazy but this summer I really want to try to leave my life source aka cell phone at home. If I am with my friends than I do not have to update anyone because they will all be there and if I run into an emergency I am positive someone in the group will have their phone.
This summer I want to detox and refocus to better prepare myself for next year. One semester down and many more to go, but I am so excited to continue this adventure here at Fontbonne!

Summer
It is almost that time of the year again where people make wish lists, to-do lists, and all kinds of possible lists they can come up with. I, too, have a bucket list of things that I want to do before the year ends. Of course, some of them are leftovers from 2011. Those crossed out are the ones I have achieved.
- Have a toned and healthy body: Quite impossible. Food is just, you know, the most sacred thing to humanity. Just can’t let it go to waste.
Travel to 3 different countries in the world: to Japan in February, to Indonesia in June, to America in August. I’m from Vietnam, by the way.
Get into a good university: Here I am in Fontbonne.
Earn some money by writing: Because I plan to become a writer. Thank you Fontbonne for paying me for my written words.
Get A for Math: It was easier than I thought.
Exercise everyday: I’m crossing this because walking 40 minutes to and from school counts. And 15 minutes to Starbucks.
Travel to 3 cities in America: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago. My next stop is San Francisco. Yes, I do love traveling.
- Save $100 every month: Simply impossible…
Make 3 new friends in America: And I made way more than 3.
Learn a new language: I’m learning Chinese.
So I was able to do 8 out of 10. It was pretty impressive because last year I only did 5/10. Guess America is quite the place for me! I have not made a list for 2016 yet, but it would possibly filled with travel and diet plans.
How about you? Did you achieved your goals for 2015? Tell me!
