Concert Countdowns

in Extracurricular,In Saint Louis

I admit, I am absolutely obsessed with pop culture, especially musicians. I enjoy listening to live music, especially if the singer is considered a celebrity. I have major fan-girl moments where I scream so loud my eyes water and jump so much my ankles hurt.

Over spring break, I saw Demi Lovato in concert at Chaifetz Arena. Any moment that can take me back to my Disney days, I will gladly accept. Demi first made it big when she starred in Camp Rock and Sonny With a Chance. If those still played on TV, you better believe I would still watch them. Speaking of past Disney stars, the next big concert I’m looking forward to is Miley Cyrus. She will be performing at the Scottrade Center on April 16. I bought these tickets months ago, so am extremely excited that the date is finally approaching. That night will be quite an experience.

I am also really looking forward to my summer concerts. James Taylor will be at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in June. Yes, I like oldies music too. I can branch out a little bit from my taste with girlie pop sounds. Then, August 27 is the big one: One Direction! They are my number one in music right now. I saw them last year as well. I went to Kansas City to see them. This year, they are coming right to St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome. I am so excited for this show I can hardly contain myself (and it’s still five months away). I won’t say too much on that now, because I can guarantee I will be blabbing about it more the closer and closer the time comes (and following the concert as well). There’s always something exciting that I like to count down the days to. It’s not always for concert. The countdown could be for something big like a vacation, or low key like the release date of a Zac Efron movie.
