Griffin Spirit

Happy Fall Spirit Week! Every fall and spring, Fontbonne has a spirit week that correlates with the formal dance. The week, hosted by Fontbonne Activities Board (FAB) is always full of daytime and nighttime events. Here’s the lineup for fall ’13 spirit week.

Saturday: Candy Land themed fall formal dance held at City Museum (see the picture of the executive FAB board members dressed their best in the picture below!)

Sunday: Beauty and the Beast at the Fabulous Fox theatre

Monday: Pop culture trivia at lunch; Despicable Me 2 showing at night

Tuesday: Karaoke night (in which I may have hogged the mic a bit too much)

Wednesday: Spirit rally at lunch (including a photo booth opportunity with Gunner the Griffin); senior night for women’s volleyball at night

Thursday: Free commuter lunch consisting of Syberg’s; Blues hockey game at night

Spirit Weeks are always a lot of work to plan and execute. But, I have no complaints, because I absolutely love what I do. It’s a lot of fun to attend and see other Fonty students enjoy the events with me. It’s great that Fontbonne does things like this to boost school morale. I’ve got spirit, how ’bout you?!
