Time for first Test

I’ve been studying for over a week for the first test in my Reading Diagnostic and Assessment Classes. The tests are a week apart. I’ve really enjoyed the classes up until now. I thought I took copious notes, paid attention in class, and completed my assignments. Yet, even though the teacher gives an overview of what will be on the test, why am I tempted to read everything else?

I think that a wandering mind is what causes me to feel unprepared on test day. Regardless of the effort I’ve put into studying, I still find myself cramming at the last minute like a frantic teenager studying the driver’s license guide. It has worked up until this point; I’ll soon see on blackboard if my strategy still works. What are your test studying tips?
