DLESA

The Department of Leadership, Education, and Student Activities. Whoa, that’s a mouthful. Better known as DLESA, this department hosts a few major campus organizations at Fontbonne, one of which I’m a part of. Omicron Delta Kappa falls under the DLESA umbrella. As we near the final days of the semester (yikes), the department was kind enough to throw the bundle of student leaders on campus an End of the Year Party. This just happened to be a trip to Busch Stadium for a Cardinals Game, complementary nachos, and Ted Drewes after.

It was an enjoyable night! Although it rained off and on, the Cardinals ended up losing, and the game ended significantly past the closing of Ted Drewes, it was still a great night with fellow students. I can’t fathom to think that this time next week my junior year of college will be basically complete, and just a few weeks after that I’ll be boarding a plane to London for the entire summer.

Monday night was a night full of memories, but that is what my entire year has been, thanks to Fontbonne. It’s nights like Monday that I’ll look back on and cherish. I just have to hang on for another week. Let the finals begin!

Ready for the game to start!

Thanks for reading..
