I visited my boyfriend and his family and had so much fun. We went to Dave n’ Busters, went up the mountain, had a few dates, and ate yummy cake. Of course, my favorite part of the weekend was being able to spend time with my boyfriend, that was the greatest gift of all. He also got me a Pandora charm bracelet, which I have been wanting for a long time. We had my birthday dinner at Olive Garden in Fort Collins, CO and I opened it up and started crying. It was so cute and unexpected.

The night before my birthday we went to the Dave n’ Busters in Denver. I have only been to the one in Illinois. The Denver one is so much nicer, even classy. It must have been a lucky night for me, because on one machine, I won over 500 tickets. At the end of the night we ended up with 976 tickets. I got a cup with a crazy straw and a shot glass.

So, this weekend I went to two totally different types of birthday parties. One was for an 88 year old man. It consisted of fancy dress, 4 course meal, the Gov.’s mansion, and a bit of cocktail drinking. The next day, I went to a 2 year old’s birthday party that was filled with cake, robots, balloons, and a whole lot of present opening.

The thing I noticed was the way the birthday boys seemed to have the same reaction to most things. They both loved the celebration, the fun and most of all the people that came together and helped them have such a wonderful day.
