Crushed Red is Crushing it!

in In Saint Louis

Although I have been quite a few times before, I thought I would let you all know of an amazing restaurant that I attended this past weekend. Crushed Red, located at 8007 Maryland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63105, is an “urban bake and chop shop” that serves cuisine that is fresh and delicious. The food is unique and satisfying and the price is even better. Almost of the items on the menu are under $10, which is great for college kids on a budget looking for a nice, fresh meal.

As per the main website page of Crushed Red:

“We believe food that’s served quickly should be great food, and great food should be good for our planet. We also believe that it takes experience and true artisan know-how to make this happen. Our chopped-to-order salads and hand stretched pizzas are prepared to exacting standards by people who have a deep understanding of food and care about what they serve. In addition to our commitment to quality, we’ve designed our restaurants to produce very little waste: because care about our guests, and the impact we have on our community and the world around us.”

Not only is the food they provide outstanding, but the atmosphere and ambiance of the entire restaurant is warm and welcoming. They also have soups to fill you up on these chilly fall nights. Whether enjoying a freshly chopped salad, or savoring a delicious slice of pizza, the food at Crushed Red is sure to satisfy your stomach and your wallet. Another also benefit of ordering from Crushed Red is that you can order it online so you just have to drive down and pick it up with no wait!

Crushed Red is also a part of the Green Dining Alliance as their website describes

“Crushed Red is part of the Green Dining Alliance. ‘Exceed industry norms for sustainable restaurant management & operations.’

We are proud that our restaurants produce zero waste and are 100% sustainable.

This has been very important to us from the beginning and we feel it’s also very important to our guests.”

Next time you’re looking for somewhere new for lunch, head on over to
