At the beginning of summer, I made a goal for myself. My challenge was to bake at least one dessert per week that I have never made before. Except for the weeks I have been traveling, I have successfully managed this task. First I made carmelatas (oat and Carmel bars). Then mostly went to Eckert s to pick berries and made pies. Recently I made my birthday cake then I made blueBerry coffee cake! Next I will make blueberry and lemon pie. Only it’s more of a custard pie than a fruit pie which makes it different. Next week I can’t make anything because we are visiting my cousins in Chicago!
