Little City, Big Perks.

in College Life,In Saint Louis

The only city I have ever known is Chicago, which is HUGE. So, when I came to live in St. Louis 2.5 years ago I didn’t know where outside of Fontbonne I could call home. A place where I could go every week to distress from school and life in general. A little over a year ago I found that place, The Improv Shop.

The Improv Shop (https://www.facebook.com/theImprovshop) is a comedy club in the Central West End. Improvisers ask the audience of anything at all, and they do a 20-30 min scene just on that. What they come up with is hilarious. To be an improviser you must take classes. They have from level 0 to level 5 (http://theimprovshop.com/classes.html). If I had the money, I would totally do it.

This is a place I go to multiple times a week. In the course of this past year I have made so many friends and met people I’ll cherish the rest of my life. If you want to check out a place where laughing is a guarantee and maybe meet some new people, this is the place. You will most likely see me there too! They have shows on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Its only $5 to get in, or if you are a student then its free. 10626830_727522580618383_914145193610514091_n[1]10580246_713781365325838_769384392471378932_n[1]10629691_713781798659128_26221061303286763_n[1]
