Changing of the Seasons
Now that the brief respite of Thanksgiving break is behind us, finals are just around the corner. Honestly, I’ve never worried much about finals, because stress is unproductive! If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed, just remember that you can only do your best, and nothing more.
Here are some other things you can do to feel better:
Study. If you are stressing about not studying… it might be a good idea to just sit down and do it. Every little bit helps!
Exercise. Seriously, it always makes me feel better. I personally turn to running, but you should do whatever you find enjoyable! If you don’t make time for your normal routine, you’ll just feel worse.
Yoga/Meditate. SURPRISE SURPRISE, THE HIPPY IS TELLING YOU TO MEDITATE. Whatever. Don’t knock it till you try it.
Talk to friends. A little commiserating can be cathartic!
Think about the big picture. Chances are, you’ve already put in most of the work for the semester. Final exams are just a cherry on top. Trust yourself, and trust what you know. You’ll be just fine. Good luck!
