In high school I played basketball and ran cross country, but I did not plan on playing sports at Fontbonne. However, one night two of my floor mates had their lacrosse sticks out and asked if I wanted to play lacrosse in the meadow. I went and played catch. It was really difficult in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it is really fun. I ended up going to the lacrosse meeting. I met Coach Donze. Long story short I am now on the Fontbonne Women’s Lacrosse team. I had never seen a game of lacrosse before in my life, but now I have a lacrosse stick and eye cage. I am ready to go. It has been so cool how Fontbonne can open you up to have new experiences. You just have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone.
