This year, there are two nominees for U.S. President: Barack Obama (Democratic) and Mitt Romney (Republican).
Before the election day, Obama and Romney debated 4 times. I saw all of the debates via the internet. Both of them had their advantages and disadvantages, and I really admired them — they delivered their opinions and still kept calm whatever happened.
For me, I want to vote but I can’t because I’m an international student. However, I still like to talk with my American friends about their opinion for this presidential election. Some of my friends support Romney because they believe American should go back to work and not depend on help from the government. But some of my friend support Oboma because they think that president Obama leads the United States very well. I believe everyone’s political choices are their own and their right. I respect all the opinions for this election.
Even though I can’t vote tonight, I’ll keep praying for the results of this election.
Whoever wins this 2012 United States president election, I believe God will bless America and the leader.
Happy Election Day!
